say NO! to Kashruth?

Ynet: During Knesset session on Monday regarding the price increase of bread, MK Moshe Sharoni of the Pensioners party suggested a unique idea – to totally abolish kashrut on food products in order to make them more affordable, according to Israel’s leading newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.....They also talked about meat. Why don't we simply cancel the kashrut of meat and diary products and in-turn they will be inexpensive? Food products will cost significantly less. No one talks about that." Sharoni's words, naturally, spurred controversy in the plenum. "Aren't you ashamed?" yelled at him chairman of the National Union-NRP party MK Zevulun Orlev. "You should be ashamed. Are you a Jewish Knesset member?"
