8 y/o Beit Shemesh girl murdered

Jpost: An 8-year-old Jewish girl was found murdered Thursday in a Beit Shemesh market, police said. The body of the girl, Lipaz Himi, who was apparently strangled to death, was discovered in the wee hours of the morning by a Palestinian worker near a stairwell at the rear of the Beit Shemesh market, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said. It was not immediately clear whether the murder was terror-related. Several illegal Palestinian workers who were in the market were detained for questioning, and police were checking whether they were involved in the murder. The girl's body was covered with bruises, especially around the neck, indicating she had been strangled to death, police said. Beit Shemesh police chief Oz Eliasi said that police were investigating whether the murder was terror or criminally related, and if the girl was killed where her body was found, on a mattress in a stairwell in the rear section of the 'Shuk Canyon' market. An initial police investigation indicated that the girl, who was found fully dressed, was not sexually molested before being murdered. The girl's mother had contacted police after midnight Thursday saying that her daughter had gone missing Wednesday evening........
