Stop doing Chesed!

What about "Al shlosha devorim haolam omed. Al hatorah al hoavodah v'al GEMILAS CHASODIM? Arutzsheva: The Rabbi of Gush Katif, Rabbi Yigal Kaminetzky, gave a clear ruling on Thursday, to give precedence to election campaign efforts even at the expense of chessed (acts of benevolence) activities on behalf of the Gush Katif refugees. "We all need to focus on the most important thing right now, which is elections," he explained to a Matot Arim (Cities Action Committee) spokesperson, asking that his instructions be made available to the public at large. "We are extremely grateful to all those who normally perform much-needed chessed activities on behalf of our wronged community - but we ask that these activities be postponed until after Election Day and that people devote themselves to election work".
